Terms of Service
Last updated: September 2026. These Terms of Service govern diagnostic consultations, hardware evaluations, and specialized display restoration work conducted by Repair Zone Service.
1. Nature of Panel-Level Diagnostics
Display panels are complex, microscopically assembled electro-optical units. While initial consultations and symptom reviews provide guidance, conclusive determination of repair viability requires in-person electrical and optical microscope inspection. Submitting an inquiry does not constitute a guarantee of repairability.
2. Irrepairable Structural Defects
Our laser micro-machining and ACF bonding equipment exclusively resolves electrical circuit shorts, bonding contact degradation, and signal line leakage. Displays with physically shattered, punctured, crushed, or cracked glass substrates cannot be repaired. We will inform customers immediately if structural damage renders the panel unrepairable.
3. Quotations & Repair Authorization
Following bench diagnosis, customers receive a clear diagnostic report detailing the required procedure (e.g. ACF flex bonding, laser short isolation, or circuit repair) and estimated costs. No invasive procedures or component replacements are conducted without prior customer consent.
4. Pre-Existing Conditions & Component Salvage
Display panels subjected to extensive moisture corrosion, previous tampering, or severe electrical overvoltage may have concealed secondary faults. If a panel proves unviable during testing, we offer component salvage options for functional boards (power supply, motherboard, backlight strips) upon request.
5. Warranty Terms
Warranty coverage applies specifically to the bonded flex connections or laser-welded bypass circuits performed by our laboratory. Specific warranty durations are outlined on individual service invoices and depend on panel age, model, and operational condition.
